I have this speaker installed in the engine compartment of my jeep. It isn't loud enough to be heard while driving but is loud enough at a stop. One problem I keep having is that when I go through water, the splashing causes the speaker to fill with water and not work (it faces downward). Fortunately it does not damage it and I just have to tilt it to get the water out but it is frustrating. I am looking for a better place to mount it so that doesn't happen but the jeep engine compartment isnt all that big. Presently I have it mounted to the air box. Good speaker for the money, but looking back I wish I would have spent more on a higher end model.

i bought this item to let people know that their blinkers is out when they cut in to my lane with out letting me know!! and it works great for that!!

This item arrived 3 days ahead of schedual which was nice. 3 stars was for the fact that its not that loud. of course its only 15 watts. doesnt come with mounting screws which i had extra so it worked out good. cord is almost to short but i stretched it to fit. Made the mounting hole bigger and used a bigger screw.
