5.0 out of 5 stars This book is for females too, July 7, 2001
This review is from: Roadside Ron (Hardcover)
I was almost mad after I finished reading "Roadside Ron" because I wished there was more. I had to make myself stop reading so I could extend the pleasure of it. Looking at the cover and topic I wasn't sure I would like it, but I found myself riding along with Ron and hoping for happiness. I was intrigued to see the male point of view in relationships. I would not say this is a romance but it captivated me like a romance would. I would recommemnd this book to anyone who has or wished they had a cool friend that travels and takes chances.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Motorcycle Story Since "Easy Rider", December 29, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Roadside Ron (Hardcover)
This tale encompasses new beginnings born from total devastation of the human spirit. It is threaded together with hope and encouragement and the adventure and nostalgia of a cross country trip on old Route 66. The characters you meet on the way are unforgettable and will be missed long after the book is finished. Truly the best motorcycle story out since "Easy Rider."

5.0 out of 5 stars 40-ish fellow Western Rider, December 28, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Roadside Ron (Hardcover)
Good book. The description is excellent and the author captures the true spirit of the west and how it feels to ride it. He was also able to write the mental turmoil of breaking away and starting over again. The description of the sex scenes are not for the prudish. If you want to know how it feels to ride the Great American machine, read this book. You won't be disapointed.

By A Customer
This review is from: Roadside Ron (Hardcover)
Ron does what every one of us wants to do at some point in our lives - pack it all up and move on out. Ron is a character not unlike many of us. He's an easy going guy who just wants to get along in life. And he's doing what a lot of us fail to do......fulfilling his dreams. An excellent book!
