I had the pleasure of meeting Lijie while she was on tour. She was charming and honest. She is for real as is her music. This set of songs make their way to my MP3 player often.

THIS CD IS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HEARD. ALL OF THE TRACKS ARE SO VERY STRONG IN LYRICS AND CONTENT, NOT A WEAK SONG ON THE WHOLE CD. I URGE ANY MUSIC LOVER TO PURCHASE THIS ONE FOR THEIR COLLECTION. I MUST HAVE PLAYED IT EACH DAY FOR 5 MONTHS STRAIGHT.

I was turned on to Lijie when I saw her on Fox 25 news/Boston...instantly fell in love with her voice & lyrics...downloaded the album the same day & I've been playing it non-stop ever since....keep the music coming Lijie!!

This is a great album. She has some great lyrics and the melodies are catchy - especially the song "Lately".

I am a big fan of the alternative/acoustic genre. When I was searching for up and coming singers, Lijie's face popped up on the www.yourmusicspot.com - a website dedicated to up and coming singers. As I listened to the other singers on the website, they sounded like basic everyday "trying to make it" singers. Lijie's songs and poetry is beyond the other artists trying to make it big. I'm actually surprised she hasn't yet!

Her songs and poetry remind you of Sarah McLaughlin and Tory Amos... the relaxing peaceful music that just calms you down and helps you center yourself. Her song "Roam" right now is her best one out there. She is a very talented musician, songwriter, and beautiful singer.

If you love Sarah McLaughlin, Tory Amos, Paula Cole, and Shawn Colvin, then you would absolutely LOVE Lijie. Take a listen... it's worth your time!

Lijie has a unique and mesmerizing quality to her voice. I hope she comes out with another CD soon, because the world needs to hear her work. Well done.

I fould that really mainstream. Nothing that made me excited or thinking this was really different. Honest piece of work.

I like music, but I do not understand Western music very well. ROAM is an exception. I love it because it is touching my heart. I could image a young girl walking along a countryside road. She plays guitar and sings about her sad past. But she never lost her hope. She is fighting for her future with passion. In our life, there might be some points of time one feels lonely and hopeless. It is important to express her/his sadness to wake people up (otherwise we may think life is so easy). It is also important to encourage people to fight for the beautiful tomorrow. Both the music and the voice are great. I wish more people listen to ROAM and love ROAM. I am looking forward to more songs like ROAM from Lijie in the future. MYY
