Rev. Master Kennett meant a great deal to me when I was a young man. Now as an old man I find my way back to looking for her teaching again. I would reccomend anything she wrote as worth having and a must have. She was an incredible lady and a great teacher about the ways of the east.

I think this book is very helpful for all the Westerners whom want to know more about Buddhism in a Japanese tradition. Jiyu Kennett was an American Buddhist nun who had practiced Buddhism in a Japanese tradition.

There seem to be a large variety of ways to look at Buddhism. This is one ladies personal journey. I enjoyed reading about her.
