A road trip through the off-beat heart of Britain
Just how bonkers are the Brits, anyway? Funnyman Robbie Coltrane (Cracker, Ocean’s Twelve, the Harry Potter films) finds out as he takes to his country’s scenic back roads on a quest for the quintessentially eccentric. Along the way, he meets the most unusual folks imaginable: a modern-day teenage wing-walker, a cleric who ministers to motorcyclists, a man who pops wheelies on a 20-ton monster fire truck, and more. He also witnesses a massive rugby match played with a beer keg, a scarecrow convention, and even an explosion or two. Sometimes Robbie joins the fun—for instance, when he enters the world’s only dock pudding cooking contest. (Of course, he cheats.)
So climb into the passenger’s seat of Robbie’s classic Jaguar roadster, relax, and experience a Britain that you’ll never see on the traditional tourist tracks.

Robbie Coltrane's "B-Road Britain" retitled for the ignernt,

Robbie Coltrane from Cracker: The Complete Collection , Hagrid of the Harry Potter movies, and the cashier from Let It Ride takes a vintage Jaguar XK-120 from London to Newcastle, driving B-roads (secondary roads) and exploring some of the oddities of the UK countryside. It's a good watch, although luckily for Robbie, these are far nicer and wider than the B-roads I'm accustomed to in East Anglia & the West Country. Coltrane is a wee bit rude, but if the viewer realizes the programs are aimed at a non-American viewership, it is very enjoyable.

I bought Robbie Coltranes Incredible Britian video and it is worth every penny. Very funny and the tour he takes you on is awesome. I learned so much and was totally humored along the way. I borrowed it originally from the library and loved it so much I ordered a copy for myself from Amazon.

This was very entertaining and I enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed that more time was not spent in my own part of the country, Co. Durham.
