Nice enough calendar; few pictures,

This review is from: 2011 Mapplethorpe Nudes Deluxe Engagement Calendar (Calendar)
Mapplethorpe was amazing with his photographic and erotic eye. He was also prolific in his works. Unfortunately, this calendar spends most of it's pages on international reference information (?), calendar grids, and only has only about 24 photos. All of this companies calendars are this way. Otherwise, the photos are nice enough.

This review is from: 2012 Robert Mapplethorpe Wall Calendar (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch Edition) (Calendar)
Mapplethorpe's extraordinary photographs of flowers are beautifully presented in this exquisite grouping. The calendar itself is large, informative, and well made, but it is the photographs themselves that make this item one-of-a kind. We have had Mapplethorpe calendars for years, and this is one of the best in terms of artistic selections.

I have used teNuess planners for almost a decade and i LOVE them. Mapplethorpe's orchid/flower photos are my favorite and this planner displays them beautifully. The planner has a cool birthday section, and the weekly pages are perfect to see the week at once, with enough space to write notes for each day. Great for students who need to write down simple notes like assignments due, or exam dates. Would not be ideal for someone used to a day-timer who needs to schedule in 15 minute increments... there are just 8-10 lines per day.

Most durable planner I have ever had!,

This review is from: 2009 Mapplethorpe Deluxe Engagement Calendar (Spiral-bound)
It's a nice planner, but I just want to rave about its durability. If you are looking for something to withstand hours of toting around through the rain, dropping it many times, etc., this is your planner. Not only is it very modern-looking, clear, and concise, but it stands up to my carrying it everywhere that I go.
For being a last resort planner that I bought, this is a fav and I would definitely buy it again. Well worth the price. |
