This review is from: Robert Ryman: Works On Paper 1957-1964 (Hardcover)
Robert Ryman "Works on Paper (1957-1964)" features 31 full page plates in full color, along with a brief interview with Ryman and an introduction by Peter Blum. Though many consider Ryman's brand of minimalism boring, this book displays some of his best and most involved work (in other words, the plates aren't just of one pure white painting after another). Exquisite mark making, brilliant composition, and all the subtle nuances Ryman fans love. If you like Ryman's work, this is a great little volume to add to your collection.
