5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Interval Training Opportunity
Sherman delivers another excellent indoor cycling workout with clear cues, attention to form and explanation of interval training. Because of the nature of the workout (speed intervals or strength intervals) it is not easy to keep your heart rate in the target zone. I did the warm up and speed section which lasts about 30 minutes. Approximately 12 of those minutes were...

1.0 out of 5 stars Sherman's indoor cycling.
This is the worst video for spinnning ever. I was looking for a longer spin time, than the standard spin 30-40 min. The trainer is talking literally monotonously all the time, lacks charisma, his two trainees do not even smile. The setting , which is very important in a spinning class ( lights , music, energy) is NOT there at all. Yes the training is longer if you build...

Approximately 12 of those minutes were within the target zone. The floor portion is conducted with clear directions and preparatory exercises. It mainly focuses on balance and core work, using an exercise ball, medicine ball, mat, and resistance bands. You can mix and match exercises to customize your workout because the segments are designed to be self-contained or done as a continuous workout experience. Two other cyclists join Sherman on the ride. They say nothing.

The trainer is talking literally monotonously all the time, lacks charisma, his two trainees do not even smile. The setting , which is very important in a spinning class ( lights , music, energy) is NOT there at all. Yes the training is longer if you build it that way, if you put together fragments in the video, that becomes anoying. I definitely do not recommend it. No challenge at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars good but too much talking, October 1, 2007
This review is from: Robert Sherman's Cycle Challenge DVD (Workout) (DVD)
I recently purchased this item to go with my Multisport ENC 500 spin bike. This product is definately good for beginners like myself who need to learn the basic level of the spin program. It should have had however the option to switch of the talking as i really wanted to hear the music. Robert's continual "yapping" was what i think got me tired faster than expected (but i guess he had to). Nevertheless it's a good product...hope he makes one with a lot more challenges and louder music and alot less talking.

This guy does as good as one can do and he is a little weird, which make a dull task interesting.
