5.0 out of 5 stars One is awed into silence, July 12, 2010

This man is a savant. This is the front-row-seat-stuff with an artistic titan.

Over the years I've collected and studied Robert Taylor's. You can barely fault him. The conception, the perspectives, the employment of colour and lighting, the understanding of meteorology and landscape, the technical mastery of the subjects and the overall perfection of execution leaves one deeply impressed.

Even his text to each picture is knowledgeable, easy, informative and laced with the same intelligence.

Buy the books (and the prints)..... they will transport you into a realm that most so-called `great masters' with all their static smearing and daubings will never get you to.
