5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent snack for babies
I bought the small packages of veggie booty because my one year old does not eat many at a time and I find that they do not taste that good when they aren't fresh. She will eat 3-5 pieces for a snack and I will finish off the package for her. These veggie puffs are excellent baby snack food. And the subscribe-and-save option makes them reasonably priced. 3.0 out of 5 stars Bags shipped half open
I was so excited to see this on Amazon - it's a pretty good deal for something my 2 year old LOVES. Unfortunately, half the bags were open when it arrived (not sure if it was cheap glue or what), so it wasn't such a good deal after all (although I'm sure if I complain to Amazon they will refund me - maybe I'll do that in a minute!).

The ones that weren't...

I usually receive the package within 2-3 days of ordering and this huge box of Veggie Booty often lasts us several months. I also take the packages, as snack food, to the play groups my daughter attends.

I bought these to have as snacks in the car. Easy to take without much preplanning. Works well. Kids can open the bags sometimes themselves. We love this product. I have not met a booty we do not like.

Wheat and dairy free snack that is light and yummy. Also good snack for those watching carbs like diabetics. The .5 oz bags have 9 grams of carbs.

5.0 out of 5 stars The kids will eat their veggies, June 28, 2007
This review is from: Robert's American Gourmet Veggie Booty, 0.5-Ounce Bags (Pack of 60) (Grocery)
If I told you my kids would eat spinach and kale, you would never believe me, but with veggie booty, they get their veggies and they love it! My 1 year old literally won't eat anything that does not have the texture of bread. This works for her and makes me feel a little better that she gets some veggie vitamins. We like fruity booty too!

The ones that weren't open in shipping have been great, the bag is the right size for a single serving snack - I think healthier than goldfish or similar things you might typically give your little one!

Excellent. Perfect size bags, lots of booty (always a good thing) and not so much so that it goes stale

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Veggie Booty, more like Corn Meal & Rice Booty, March 9, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Robert's American Gourmet Veggie Booty, 0.5-Ounce Bags (Pack of 60) (Grocery)
This review is a warning on misleading advertising. This product may be quite suitable for many people, but it is not what it appears to be. If this was labeled as corn & rice puffs, this would get 5 stars.

I ordered this as a snack for our little guy, and to make it easier, even subscribed for this to be delivered regularly. After all, I thought I had finally found the one snack product I could feel good about giving to our son, vegitables, yeah! If you think you are getting Kale & Spiniach and other veggies, you are in for a rude surprise. The primary ingredients in this are Corn Meal & Rice and it *MAY* contain kale & spinach *POWDER*.

According to our pediatrician, both of its primary ingredients do not qualify as 100% vegetable. Corn is considered 1/2 starch and 1/2 veggie in its full form, I am not even sure how corn meal measures up. Rice is considered all starch. Nothing wrong with starch, but this was misleading advertisement.

The kicker is that Amazon does not allow returns on this product, so now I am stuck with a large carton fully of a product that does not satisfy its intended purpose. Amazon need to be a better job of listing the full label of the product for consumer to review upfront rather than stuffing most of the page areas that consumers focus on with manufacturer supplied advertisement material.

Update: Amazon took care of the problem to full satisfaction after the first round of support.
