This device does one simple thing - it times one event. I use it when I exercise to time how long I'm doing a particular exercise. I have another Robic Chronometer with all the bells and whistles , but it has TOO MANY functions. This is simple - push the button to start timing the event, push the button to stop timing the event and push another button to clear the results. It works for me. It will time an event for up to 10 hours and measures time to 1/100th of a second. Nice, simple - it works for me! I've used other Robic devices and they are well made and seem to last for a long time. It also has a strap so you can wear it around your neck. It was exactly what I was looking for. One thing I forgot to mention is that a single event can be paused and restarted without completely zeroing the device.

The stop/start buttons are too soft and the watch stops or starts accidentally.

Just what I needed - a SIMPLE stop watch that does only that - not also a clock, a thermometer, a speedometer, a tachometer, ect.

I found the instructions amusing concerning the button you see on the front. The instructions say it serves no purpose and avoid pushing it!
