Mike Schmidt's career defined the word brilliance. During his 18 year career Schmidt made the All Star game 12 times, won 10 gold gloves at the hot corner, won 3 MVP awards, won a World Series (in which he was named World Series MVP), hit 548 home runs and drove in 1595 runs. Schmidt led the league in home runs an astounding 8 times and was in the top 3 in runs batted on 9 different occasions. Known for his great power and even greater work ethic, Mike was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.
