This electronic freon leak detector works great. It's really easy to use and it can help you find the leak on your air conditioning system.

It has two sensitivity levels on it.

Level 1 detects R-134a (which is in most cars today since the 1990's), HP 62, AC 9000, AZ 20 and AZ 50

Level 2 detects R-12 (which is older cars prior to the 1990's), R-22, R-500, and R-502.

It has a visual leak indicator to show when refrigerant is detected and how concentrated it is

The goose-neck probe is 16 inches long which gives you plenty of reach if your looking for a leak in your engine bay.

The only downside to this freon detector is in the audible leak detector. While the detector is in use you will hear a steady ticking noise which can be controlled with the volume dial. But even with the volume all the way up it can be hard to hear if you are outside or if you are using the detector with your car running.

Overall this detector works great because It detects a wide variety of refrigerants. If your planning on fixing an a/c system yourself and you don't know where the leak is, this is the tool for you.

Great little piece of equipment, light, small,easy to form into the necessary configuration to pinpoint a leak, and surprizingly sensitive! When I first received it I turned it on inside my house to see it light up and found that I had an freon leak in my air conditioning unit on the other end of the house!! Have not failed to find a leak since!

This is a great tool for freon leak testing, always clean tip sensor after use and store in plastic bag to prevent from dusts.

This product was a total waste when i recieved it.It was very unsensitive and could not detect the refrigerant even when it was placed directly in front a open tank of r134a.A waste of money..Of course i purhased it online.I live in the caribbean, so returning the product is a big costly problem for me..so i hav to just discard it..A lot ofg hard earned money down the drain..So much for robin air..It really was "robin" me.

I bought this to carry with me when I work out in the field. I'm glad it has a light up display to show a leak because if I had to rely on the audible alarm this product would be useless to me!

Havent used it yet but it was shipped quickly and well packaged. Will purchase from this seller again!!!
