Not just for the General Hospital Fan,
By Becky "Becky" (Ohio) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Robin's Diary (Paperback)
Although based on a storyline from the popular soap opera General Hospital, this is actually a Romeo and Juliet type story teens can relate to. I read this for the first time as a teenager and still love it as an adult. This story looks at how two people on the verge of adulthood have to learn to live when one is HIV + and how that affects everyone in this young man's life, most notably his girlfriend Robin. Robin's courage thoughout is an inspiration.

the best,
This review is from: Robin's Diary (Paperback)
This is my favorite book. The story covers a major crush, first love, a first time and a tragic death. I am the biggest fan of Robin and Stone around, and each time I read this book I still cry at the end. Robin and Stone will always be in my heart.

This book has everything you love in a story: friendship, love, drama, vunerabilty, complexity. I could go on and on. This story was truely the best I have ever read. I watched Robin and Stone on t.v when I was younger, but now that I have the book I appriciate it even more. I cried and cried at the end. Love to Robin and Stone forever. Thank you for this wonderful story General Hospital.

I absolutly love this book especially the letters in the back from Stone and Robin's friends and it also tells of the problems you face when you are diagnosed with AIDS and HIV. Anybody who is a avid GH watcher should read this book.

This review is from: Robin's Diary (Paperback)
I have this book on my shelf right now! I like it because it has great pictures and it is very descriptive. If you want to remember what Stone and Robin's last time together was like this is the book!! In the back are also the letters that friends had written for Stone's memory book and addresses where to find more information on AIDS.

Touching and sad,
By A Customer
This review is from: Robin's Diary (Paperback)
Robin's Diary was one of the saddest books I've read. I followed the Robin and Stone story on General Hospital. This book is very touching, showing how AIDS can affect lives. This book also hits readers who are teenagers. Most teenagers probably don't believe that they can ever get AIDS. By reading what happened to Robin and Stone, it makes a more profound impact on us rather than if an adult told us about it. Even though Robin and Stone are not real people, what they went through could be happening to anyone anywhere. Robin's Diary is perfect for a teenager of the 90's. because it deals with an issue that we have become very concerned about.

One of the best books that I have ever read,
By A Customer
This review is from: Robin's Diary (Paperback)
Robin's Diary is one of the best books that I have ever read. It deals with one of the biggest factors that influence our lives today, A.I.D.S. Even though this book is fictional, it could happen to anyone. It will make you laugh, and surely make you cry. If you would like to read a book that could happen to anyone, this is the book to read. I'm sure that once you read this book, it will become one of your favorites

This book was bought used, but it looks brand new, with usual aging due to time. It's a great book for any GH fan, but also anyone affected or know someone affected with AIDS/HIV.

Robin's Diary brings Robin and Stone's relationship back to life. I was just a baby when Robin and Stone got together and I am now a huge General Hospital fan. Since I always heard Robin and Sonny mention Stone from time to time I was curious. I highly recommend this book to General Hospital fans.
