I was delighted to find this book. Sanders is a favorite of mine and this book offers all of the insights that I've grown to appreciate from this author. He provides brief biographical narratives of great characters of faith from the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. The little jewels from the lives of Moses, Elijan, and the Apostle Paul were particularly helpful for my research. This book is a wonderful additional to any pastor or Sunday School teachers library. It lives up to its title. This book was a key resource in my dissertation research and I was fortunate to find it through such a responsive vendor who provided everything as promised. Thanks.
