If you're around ag, you've probably used Roccal before. It is expensive, but formulated to perform well in heavy bio soil loads that other disinfectants just can't cope with. We actually did a bioassay of the areas cleaned with Roccal this year, and found that it is at least as effective as we needed. If you need to disinfect outdoor animal stalls where it just isn't possible to completely eliminate organic materials, don't skimp. Roccal also has a high dilution ratio making it a good value.

This is the greatest cleaning product I have used in a long time. I was impressed with it while cleaning litter boxes at an animal rescue center and decided to try it at home. I have 5 cats and I foster many others including young kittens. This is far superior than any grocery store cleaning product in breaking down dirt and disinfecting surfaces. A gallon was expensive, however it goes a long way after the recommended dilution. I also shared a quart of Roccal with a friend to defray some of the cost.

Strong smell undiluted, but it's not like bleach or pinesol...
Easy to use - easy to rinse off with very little residual smell. Instructions are to dilute - very small amount in a gallon of water... A gallon will last me at least a year, so it is VERY cost effective
