This review is from: La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel (150ml) 5.1 Fluid Ounce Tube (Health and Beauty)
My son who is now 21 has struggled with acne outbreaks since he was 16, he has very oily skin and is a perfectionist (stress). We think these things are the major cause of his acne (he also gets outbreaks after eating pizza).Since he refuses to go to a dermatologist, we have tried everything over-the-counter. We bought this because of the glowing recommendations - and doggone - it works! His forehead is clear for the first time in years, and his overall appearance is better. He uses this in conjuntion with their acne cream for individual spots. After the 1st few days of use, his face (which was beginning to look like raw meat) had cleared. Because of this early success, he is using it regularly. Now, if we could just change his eating habits, and reduce stress (he's an engineering student)...he still gets outbreaks, this product does not prevent - but it does really clear up his acne!
