I was afraid to buy this version and get a product that was not as effective as Lipikar Baume, but I was positively surprised: it's easier to apply than lipikar baume, but the skin feels as moisturized as with the other version.

The best body lotion ever for dry skin, easy to use, no grease
i used it all year long.

I have used this body lotion for over a year. It is the ONLY product I have found that literally makes the tiny bumps on the backside of your arms and legs go away! If you have dry skin - go for it! I, too, only use fragrance free products - this one does have a scent but it is not a perfume (I am allergic to perfumes), it is actually just a nice clean smell.

i have been using la roche-posay face-care products exclusively for over a year now and have been very happy with the quality and effectiveness of their products. but for my daily body lotion i had been a long-time user of cetaphil's moisturizing cream. i like the cetaphil cream a lot, it works great and i love that it is fragrance-free. but since i admire la roche-posay's products so much i thought i would give their body lotion a try. especially since i had already tried their hand repair cream (lipikar xerand) and really liked how it worked for me.

what i love about the la roche-posay lipikar body emollient is that i no longer have to dig my hands into a jar to scoop out lotion because i can just pump it directly into my hands. the lotion is a lighter formula than the cetaphil moisturizing cream (which is very dense and thick) and spreads really easily everywhere and also dries quickly (which is great when you're in a hurry -- i hate pulling on clothes when my skin still feels "wet" with lotion!)

overall, this lotion works and feels great and i will continue to use it. it is definitely effective for my severely dry skin (if i don't use lotion on my legs after every shower i almost immediately develop the dry cracked skin that resembles a dried up lake). i only dropped one star off the rating because unlike the cetaphil this lotion does have a slight scent to it. it actually smells very nice but i do still always prefer fragrance-free whenever possible.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL PRODUCT. IT KEEPS YOUR SKIN FEELING NOURISHED AND SOFT, NOT GREASY AT ALL. I HAVE BEEN USING IT SINCE MY DERMATOLOGIST RECOMMENDED IT TO ME, BUT LAST TWO TIMES ORDERED THRU AMAZON I HAVE RECEIVED THE WRONG LOTION.

this lotion was recommended by my dermatologist because my skin is very sensitive and dry. The product is excellent and definitely nonirritating.
