An Early 90's Classic..., December 12, 2001
This review is from: Rock on 1992 (Audio CD)
To be blunt, this is a great album. To me, it brings back a lot of memories. I was nearing the end of elementary school at the time many of these songs came out, so they do hold a bit of a significant place in my childhood. This would be mostly due to the fact there wasn't a dance where some of them weren't played. As for the album itself, it covers pretty much everything from the year. Dance, rap, pop, and even metal are all represented on this complication. The obvious chart-busters are "I'm Too Sexy," "To Be With You," and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong," but there are also others in the form of "Live and Learn," and "How Do You Talk To An Angel," my personal fav. Sadly, pretty much 99% of the artists are no longer around or the stations here don't give them their just dessert (i.e. Firehouse). I recommend this album to anyone. The artist selection is good, the songs are great, and this could be one the best compliation albums from the period. So, pick it up, listen to the samples and just rock on!
