A great additon to Rock Band,
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Rock Band Track Pk Vol2 Xbox 360 (Video Game)
First off it contains:
"Afterlife" Avenged Sevenfold "Call Me" Blondie "El Scorcho" Weezer "Girl U Want" Devo "Girls Who Play Guitars" Maxïmo Park "Indestructible" Disturbed "It Hurts" Angels & Airwaves "Just What I Needed" The Cars "Message in a Bottle" The Police "Monkey Gone to Heaven" Pixies "Rio" Duran Duran "Saints of Los Angeles" Mötley Crüe "Simple Man" Lynyrd Skynyrd "Snow ((Hey Oh))" Red Hot Chili Peppers "The Perfect Drug" Nine Inch Nails "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" Fall Out Boy "Time Is Running Out" Papa Roach "Why Do You Love Me" Garbage "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" Judas Priest "Zero" Smashing Pumpkins All these songs are pretty good, the game gives you a potential of an extra 250 gamerpoints and a code to transfer the 20 songs included if you own Rock Band 1 or 2. It shouldn't be hard to sell the game once the code is used for 15-20 dollars so you are essentially getting 20 songs for $10. Great Value!!! Cons: It features the Rock Band interface and not that of Rock Band 2 All features except for the essential ones have been removed.

I did what the first reviewer suggested and purchased the game, used the code to download the songs to RockBand 2 and then sold the disc to someone else for a few bucks.
If you are going to do this, great, but if you think this might be a little morally wrong, just consider your alternative: Each of these songs sell on the market place for 160 points (approximately $[...]), and since there are 20 songs this would cost $40 to buy the separately. As a track pack, you save $[...]-$[...] overall, so it's a good deal, right? Well, no, not really. I started looking at the songs and realize I only play/like 9-10 of the songs on the track pack. So if I had just bought the songs I play/like on the market place, it would have only cost me $[...] and I would have saved and extra $[...]-$[...]. Also, since Amazon sells the Microsoft Points (1600 and 4000) at a slight discount, you can save even more by just downloading the songs you play/like. So, look at the songs included and decide which one's you like or are willing to learn to like. If it is more than 11 of the 20, this is a great deal, but if not, you might be better off just going and buying a microsoft points card and downloading the songs you like.

This track pack is really good for the price, but I only recommend buying it if you like at least half of the songs. For the price you can pay online per song, you should like at least 10 to 12 of these songs and consider the rest as a bonus. They are exportable to Rock Band 1 and 2 by downloading the songs with a code given on the back of the manual. Overall it is a good deal, but only if you have a taste for most of these songs.
