This is the last show with "Barney and the Backyard Gang." This show has lots of songs, and it is very good. The kids go to a movie studio and pretend to put on a show with Barney. They do a commercial for cereal, put on a puppet show, paint their faces, pretend to travel to an island, and rock and roll! The kids also meet some new friends, including Kathy--played by Lauren King, who stays with Barney & Friends until 1995. This show has a lot of songs, and it will keep your child's attention very well. It includes the songs: Apples and Bananas, Six Little Ducks, Me and My Teddy, and Good Manners. I recommend this for all Barney lovers!

This was one of my son's favorite Barney videos when he was smaller. I have to admit that is is stil one of MY favorite videos. When nobody is in the house sometimes, I sit down and watch it! I would recomend three wishes, a day at the beach, or the backyard show over this video.

I have a 10-year-old, a seven-year-old, and a two-year-old, so am on my third go-round with this video. This is definitely the best of the original Barney videos. The musical selection is superb. So even though Barney is such an easy target to ridicule, I can't help singing along to this one. "Amy", however, looks bored with the whole affair. But then she didn't age gracefully. Oh yeah, my 2-year-old likes it too.

This used to be my 9 year old's all time favorite video. She started watching it at the baby-sitter's when she turned 1. Our baby-sitter, however, was not very able to handle listening to this video every time my 9 year old brought it over to watch when she turned 1 because she had other toddlers to take care of while the parents worked during the day. I was two years old, so I listened and watched the video at the same time. 5 stars for Rock With Barney!

This is my 2 year old son's all time favorite Barney Movie! He started watching it at the babysitter's house when he had just turned 1. It was the only movie he would stay still for. Then we bought it. It has been over a year and it wore out because we watched it too many times. We have just bought it again. I highly recommend this video because of the fun and catchy songs that the group sings while they play in the Movie Studio. 5 stars for Rock With Barney!

"Rock with Barney" is delightful. An early tape in the Barney series, it projects a happy, positive outlook, with pleasant singing, dancing, and smiles by the children, which both entertain and teach the pre-schoolers and also their parents!
