Big Bill's #19 of 2001,
By "bigbill72" (Cincinnati Ohio) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Rock Bottom (Audio CD)
One hell of a CD. This is Class-A schizo-pop that meshes perfectly. The vocals intertwine spectatacularly and are very catchy. The music has spunk, power, but with a nice tone. Great indie music. Relations: Poem Rocket, The Clean, early Yo La Tengo, The Velvet Underground.

I've swam with a sea lion before,
By Juan' De Laruso (San Diego) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Rock Bottom (Audio CD)
And sea lions are not nice creatures. They roll around and look cute and when you take a deep breath go under and approach them they turn into giant muppets with lots of sharp teeth and jaws one hundred times stronger than your own. But I'm glad I did it, even if I barely got out alive.

a walk to the beach.....,
By A Customer
This review is from: Rock Bottom (Audio CD)
the kiss offs play adventure music, and everyone likes them. i like them. for you, an adventure might be to go to the beach and roll around naked at the edge of the water with all your friends and family. you will bark and howl and splash around a lot, so the killer whales will notice you. they will pounce onto shore and drag you out to sea. they'll throw you around and slap your naked body with their magnificent tails. the orcas will force their young to chase you around and bite you on your arms, legs and face. if the young whale refuses, he will be sent to bed without having his supper, and it will serve him right to have nightmares about poachers hunting him down and cutting off his dorsal fin to make killer whale fin soup. camera crews will be standing by on location to film the killer whales tossing you around. later, they will mix the footage in with classical music and put it on a wildlife tv special. for you, this might seem like an exciting adventure, but for these texans sea lion, it is a way of life.
