My daughter received this doll for her 3rd birthday, and wasn't quite ready for it. The doll is larger than most, and heaftier. The voice functions are plesantly self limiting when the doll is not moved for more than a minute - saving both batteries and my sanity. Definitely seems to be made sturdy enough for the in and out of the car/shopping cart/playground use a favorite baby doll receives.

My 4 year old got this doll for Christmas of 2006 and it is now July of 2007 and she still loves her. She is her favorite doll. She can soothe her when she cries but rocking her, patting her back or giving her a bottle or pacifier. It makes her feel important and like a really mommy. She now has 2 other Chou Chou dolls and will be getting the mommy make me better one next month for her birthday. So far this is our favoriate Chou Chou doll though.

We bought this doll to assist in preparing/training our dogs for our new baby's arrival in a few months. It has been a good lesson for them. The laughing, cooing and crying are not overbearing but still loud enough to capture their attention.

My 3 little girls each have this doll, and they love them! They are not loud and annoying and they shut off after minutes of not being moved. Perfect for the little mama.

I am a doll collector. This doll is wonderful, has been tested and the functions are great. She is a very cute doll and I would give it to my daughter when I have one. Then educational value on this doll is great for both little girls or boys especially if there is a new baby on the way. I am not sure about how durable this doll would be with the hard playing that a child would give, as this doll is just sitting with the rest of my collection.

i bought this doll for my 2 years old. when baby cries it is hard to stop for her. she played a few hours and freaked out not able to stop the baby crying, since then she didn't touch the doll. i will recommend for older kids i guess. the bottle on the picture shows milk in it, but it came without milk. also pasifier(sp?) doesn't stay still you need to hold whole time to make sucking noise. i got it $19.99+ $15.00 shipping. same week i saw them at marshalls for $19.99

My four-year-old loves this doll. She calls it her crying baby. It has very realistic sounds, but not too loud. It is the perfect size for her. The only thing I don't like is the eyes don't close all of the way. Baby sleeps with her eyes half open, kinda creepy. But my daughter doesn't notice. She loves her baby

My neighbor who is seven years old had this doll and thought it was very annoying. Whent the doll cries it doesn't stop. My friend's little sister has a similar doll who also won't be quiet and we had to put a pillow over the doll to muffle the noise. My neighbor doesn't like the doll and sold it at a garage sale. When the doll breaks it doesn't turn off so you have to throw it away rather than just playing with the non-functional doll. The functions are a little bit too much for some children while others enjoy them. Both my neighbor (7) and my friend's little sister (6) did not play with the doll for long before they never touched it again.
