Excellent Compilation of 90's Rock Instumentals, November 15, 2007

****4 1/2 Stars****Nice collection on Spinout Records put together by Los Straitjackets' Eddie Angel. Most of the groups are not well-known although a few, such as Laika and the Cosmonauts, have a sizeable cult following. The songs are excellent for the most part, although any collection of all-instrumental/surf music is going to have a sameness quality. But you know that going in. If you like the Ventures, Duane Eddy, etc. but haven't listened to some of their modern disciples, then give this a try. You won't be disappointed.
