Doom-core from Oregon.,

This CD was worth waiting for. One of this years best metal releases. The album overall has a dark apperance but the lyrics are solid Christian. This CD will make you think. WARLORD: thanks for the great music R.I.P.

If you never got the chance to see Warlord in person it was your loss. The amount of power they were able to strangle out of a 3 piece band was like nothing I have ever seen. Every song appsolutly demanded your attention. With Ricky on the AX and Tim on the drums i don't think that Metallica could be more powerfull.

Great Metal,

Great Christian Metal with awesome lyrics. This album isn't as hardcore as their ep, but the production is much better. The guitars are much heavier also.

HEAVY...HEAVY...HEAVY,

Heavy is what describes this record. Produced by Steve Austin of Today Is The Day, Warlord hits their short-lived stride of Black Sabbath-esque doom metal. They even have a cool country sample on "When Reality Sets In".I give this one five stars. It's definitely in my heavy rotation.

People using other bands names....,
By
This review is from: Rock the Foe Hammer (Audio CD)
This is getting to be a joke. Buying a c.d., thinking it's the original band to found out that it's some new band using their name. It used to be at one time that you couldn't do that. I bought this hopin' for 80's Warlord band, before the option to listen to was up on the site. Talk about a disappointment. This c.d. sucks. I thought the original Warlord changed their style to find out it was an entirely different band. Other ones to watch out for Helix, Mama's Boys, Dirty Blonde. You new bands need to start looking online before you pick your name.

DISAPPOINTING,

I bought this CD thinkin' for some awesome Solid State hardcore/metal. Yuck. When reality Sinks in sounds like their just screamin' the noah's ark story, although the beginning of that song is rad.

Changed my mind...,
By A Customer
This review is from: Rock the Foe Hammer (Audio CD)
I originally reviewed this CD as good, but after relistening to it I have rather changed my mind. My original hope was that this was the early-80's metal band of the same name, but it turns out not to be. The person responsible for the original Warlord of the 80's has moved on to other projects, namely Lordian Guard. He himself is a Christian.
