This review is from: Rock Gardens (Firefly Gardener's Guide) (Paperback)
Despite the fact that this is a very slim volume (just 96 pages) it contains a wealth of good info on rock gardens, including a brief chapter on the history of rock gardens. Other chapters include: Stone and sand and peat; These Lovely Plants; Rock Garden Plants from A to Z; as well as a list of resources and mail order sources (which may be outdated by now). Lots of drawings and photos.
