One day while watching the Interstate exit for her dad's long awaited return, Libby's life is rocked when Peter Jamieson steps off his tour bus and into her life. After a couple chance meetings with Peter, Libby breaks away from her perfect behavior and her life changes course.

Peter longs for normalcy away from the screaming fans who know nothing about the real him. He is amazed to discover Libby has never heard of him or his band. Soon their friendship turns to love. While Peter battles his family's growing interference so he can spend time with Libby, she struggles with her eccentric aunt who turns more bizarre each day.

Their lives are torn apart when Peter's family intrudes and Libby disappears. Peter's desperate search for her comes up empty. Can they find their way back to each other while the world plots against them?

5.0 out of 5 stars AH June 21, 2011

I absolutely loved this book. It was one of those books that had you sure from the discription that the main characters could never end up together.

Libby lost both her mom and sister in a car crash and hasn't seen her dad in over a year, because he just can't handle the grief. She's forced to live with her awful aunt who could not car less about her. He life is pretty far from perfect to say the least.

Then she meets Peter who has a life the total opposite of hers. He's a rock star and has an awesome family that can be a little smothering with all the time they spend together on tour.

When they meet each other it is so refreshing for them both. Neither of them know where the past has taken them or where the present has them. They just know the other is someone who is fun to talk to. They quickly connect and want to keep up a friendship.

To say the least this book was really good. It was deep and touching. I wished there was a sequel. I want to see where life takes these characters in the future. Read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful! July 5, 2011

Libby's family is broken. Her mother and her sister are dead from a car accident she was in. Her father, too heavy with pain, left her with her horrible drug dealing aunt and she trudges through life at the bare minimum. But one day she meets Peter Jamieson, a famous rockstar. Peter wishes just for a slice of normal in his crazy rock star life, and he gets it when he meets Libby. She's beautiful, selfless, and has no idea who he is and only sees him as Peter, not peter the rock star. Together, they discover love and light in their lives and no one can ever take it away from them. Everything is going great until one of Peter's selfish brothers tears Libby and Peter apart. With his love and determination, he sets out to find her, all the while, Libby sets out to find herself and discover what she wants out of life.

This is a great book. Peter's determination is admirable and sweet. They are a very cute couple and I really hope we will hear more about Peter and Libby's relationship.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Novel "Rocks"! June 18, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Author Angie Stanton had done it again! Fresh off her success with her novel "Love Em or Leave Em" comes her first YA novel, a beautifully told story about a lonely girl who meets teenage rock star. And rock this novel, Ms. Stanton has done! Libby is a lonely teenager living with her non-law abiding, evil aunt after her depressed father abandons her. Enter Peter, a famous teenage rock star. They meet, each wishing for just a small piece of the other's world. But Peter must tour and Libby gets taken from her aunt. Can these two find each other again, and if so, can this relationship work?

I fell in love with both Peter and Libby and cheered for each every second of the way. Ms. Stanton crafts each scene to keep the reader fully engaged, excited and rooting for a happy ending. What a sweet, refreshing romance!

More About the Author

Angie Stanton never planned on writing books, she wanted to be a Rockette. However, growing up in a rural setting with her brothers' 4-H pigs as pets, dance didn't work out. Instead she became an avid daydreamer. After years of perfecting stories in her head she began to write them down and the rest is history.

She loves dipping french fries in chocolate shakes, all natural disaster movies and Broadway Musicals. When not writing, Angie is concocting ways to make more dreams come true, whether it be tickets to a Broadway show or convincing her family they should rent an RV and travel the country. She's still working on that one.

Angie is a proud double finalist of the 2011 National Readers Choice Awards for Love 'em or Leave 'em, as well as a finalist for the Golden Quill Awards.
