Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this book to put together a simple geology science unit. You could make an entire science unit using this book alone. The pictures are just amazing and the website that the book directs you to is just a huge plus. In the website, you plug in a keyword and get everything from animations that demonstrate concepts,to geology games and each keyword contains a least a dozen different pages for various concepts. The information is presented with plenty of pictorial examples to "show" you rather than just describe. You cannot beat the price for what you are getting. I plan on using this book again when I teach the more advanced geology science unit.
