If you are looking for the truth from someone that has been there and come out of the mess by the grace of God,.. get this book. It makes a lot of sense.

Interesting stuff, but not revolutional, April 30, 2007
This review is from: From Rock to Rock: The Music of Darkness Exposed! (Paperback)
I'll admit that I'm working from a somewhat faded memory of this book. We received a copy via mail when I was a kid. I'm not sure of the circumstances; it's possible that it was a random mailing to generate interest. The book itself has listings of various rock bands and what unwholesome influences that promulgate among those who listen. Much of it is the usual hoary bits about fans committing suicide and rumors of reversed lyrics. As a child, it was amusing to me, but as an adult Christian, I find some of the remembered allegations somewhat silly. Does anyone really believe that Michael Jackson was promoting the occult, sex, and violence in his Thriller video?

A Kid's Review
This review is from: From Rock to Rock: The Music of Darkness Exposed! (Paperback)
This guy is totally off his rocker! I'm a Christian, and I listen to, and play [gasp!] ROCK MUSIC!! There is no form of music that is inherently evil, and that includes rock! Christians, listen to me, get a grip, and stop thinking that evil comes from outside of you [from external, neutral things like rock]- and realize it comes from inside you [from internal things like pride, vanity, lust and bitterness]. Okay, read the section about Ozzy and how he's the antichrist, blah, blah, blah, and then go watch the Osbournes. See what I mean? I have a Christian friend who was Mrs. Osbourne's hairdresser for the show, The Osbournes, and she shared the gospel with her all the time and said she was very receptive. Okay, don't listen to me, and go be Amish. Be out of the world AND not of the world, whatever.
