The real world test for a DVD like this is whether it can capture your child's attention. This DVD works very well for our 20 month-old son and it is his second-favorite DVD of all time (next to Happy Feet!)

An unexpected surprise is that we like it too! It has all your favorite nursery rhymes with a pop/rock edge to them that makes them just a little more listenable for the adults in the house/car while it is playing.

It also has a good message about 911 and how to get help if a child has a serious accident.

Overall a solid 5 star purchase for any parent looking for a good children's DVD.

I came to know about this DVD from my sister. My daughter watches kids shows on Disney Channel in the morning, but at night if she is fussy at dinner time, I pop in this DVD and she eats whatever I put in her mouth. By the time she finishes watching it, her dinner is over. I give this DVD four stars, bacause there are a few classic rhymes missing from the DVD. However, the animation is good and the voices and music are especially good. I would recommend it to other parents with toddlers.

This is a wonderful way for kids to learn nursery rhymes. And they love the rock n'roll/hard rock music, they listen to sing along. Cute idea.

Okay so I admit I am terrible at nursery rhymes, before my kids I was probably little when I heard most of them. I actually went out and bought a book about nursery rhymes but neither of my sons seemed interested in hearing them, so I was skeptical about this DVD. Wow, was I wrong, they love it! I have heard about the Three Little Kittens so many times that it is permanently stuck in my head! I cannot believe how many nursery rhymes this DVD offers and it is adorable the little animations they do with each of them. My sons love to put this on and if they are not mesmerized by it, then they are playing with their toys but have to have this playing in the background. There is a total of 43 nursery rhymes and most are popular ones that kids love! This DVD is perfect for kids under 5, and I could even see infants liking the music in the background. I think nursery rhymes are important for kids because the usually have a good lesson in them and they are just a part of a childhood kids shouldn't miss. Now with this DVD I am slowly re-learning all the nursery rhymes and singing them to my boys, soon I hope they start singing along with me!

My grandson & I have watched this over & over and he loves hearing/seeing all the songs that I have sung to him in the last 20 months! What an awesome tape, little pigs going to market and twinkle, twinkle little stars! Beautiful!

My 2 year old daughter absolutely loved this. SHe used to ask for it like "I want goose." There are a total of 43 rhymes in it featuring mother goose, brother goose and sister goose singing for a bunch of kid geese. All animation. I recommend this product.

My grandchildren loved this DVD! He, at 2 1/2, sings all the rhymes, while she at 1 1/2 dances to all the music.

They entertain Grandma for hours!!

My two year old loves this DVD. She sings along with the Nursery Rhymes. The Nursery Rhymes are sort of "jazzy" too. Not the traditional, slow nursery rhymes. I also purchased the CD. The CD came with a book of lyrics. She likes to sing along and read from the book. I only wish that the DVD had come with the book then I wouldn't have had to purchase the CD.

My 3 year daughter loves this DVD. The Nursery Rhymes are the same but after each nursery rhyme has a little message given by Mother Goose. They've jazzed up the music so the rhymes are not so boring like they were in my day. I would highly recommend.

I would recommend this to all our friends and family who have little ones. It definitely keeps our 2 yr. old son's attention for long periods of time. He started watching it when he was around 18 months old and loved it from the first time he watched it. We're so glad that we have this DVD. Our 10 month old baby girl has already shown interest in it too. It has also helped my husband and I re-learn all of the classic nursery rhymes. Now when we read nursery rhymes from a book, we are able to sing right along with the words. This is also a great DVD for the car! You won't regret purchasing this DVD!
