3.0 out of 5 stars Took a gamble,......didn't get pissed off!, July 14, 2010
This review is from: Rock N Roll (Audio CD)
Not a single review on this CD yet, so, figured I'd set this off....

In all seriousness,...I bought this because I REALLY like Track #3 - "Satisfied".
For only $10, I'm not really disappointed with this one, and I'll keep an eye on future releases for sure.

Track #1 - "Rock n Roll" - A soft, laid-back, lyrical tune that you can really sing to. Great vocals.
Track #2 - "Nothing left to Lose" - upbeat, sing-a-long, drive fast kind of song. Like it!
Track #3 - "Satisfied" - My favorite on the CD. Kinda sexy, kinda slutty. Good R&R tune.
Track #4 - "Perfect Grave" - a kinda soft song. I can take or leave this one.
track #5 - "Buy Buy Baby" - catchy beat and lyrics, upbeat. I like it1
Track #6 - "Real Girl" - what the heck is this, an old Rick Springfield remake? Fail.
Track #7 - "Fight for Love" - Similar to Track too, but different. Good stuff.
Track #9 - "You Never Know What You've Got Until Its Gone" - Not too bad, but, not feelin' it either.
Track #10 - "Stay" - Melodic power ballad. It works. Not 80's power ballad but should have broad appeal.
Track #11 - "I'm not OK" - I'd call it another power ballad of sorts. It's good, but I grew tired of it after a few listens.
Track #12 - "It's Too Late For Tomorrow" - Good little diddy here, catchy tune, Matches rest of the CD.

I've recently bought and listened to this Social Code CD, along with Since October, Black Water Rising, and Black Sunshine. I'd put this one in a similar status as Since OCtober and Black Water Rising,....maybe just below them.
If you have $10 burning a hole in your wallet and want some new music, you could do worse. :)
