The original Solomon Burke, January 6, 2001

I was a junior in High School in Louisiana when this album came out, and Solomon Burke performed better SWAMP POP than the greatest Louisiana SWAMP POPERS.............his music illicites a slow dance rhythm that is very provocative.........todays' music is all right, and young people bump and grind to it, but if they ever danced to this album, they couldn't go back and would want to know more about SWAMP POP............as an aside, although this album is not available, Solomon's other albums can affect you the same way. In fact, I am grabbing my girl and heading out to GG's in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as we speak!!
