Format: DVD
Being from Austin and having grown up there around the time this movie was filmed i can tell you firsthand that not only is it a great nostalgia piece but also fairly accurate to how the drug community there used to work. Obviously there are a lot of exaggerations, but that can be said about anything someone trys to put to film. Rock Opera is not Only a great action film, its also a hilarious and fairly accurate history of my home town in the mid to late 90's. I should also mention there are some music videos and live footage on this that I do not have any idea where else you could see. not only is this a full length film but it also contains a crap load of special features and extras, its got almost everything the director and many of the actors ever did on here. If you want to look into the eyes of old Austin, or if you lived there and just want to relive your adolescence, I would highly recommend it.
