It's filled with 7 finger play songs and bright graphics and follow the bouncing ball singalongs to enable children to interact with the music. Includes:€ Bingo€ The Eency Weency Spider€ Clap Hands€ Where is Thumbkin€ I'm a Little Teapot€ The Wheels of the Bus/This is the Church€ She'll Be Comin' Round the MountainThe Best way for preschoolers to be entertained.

This is a terible video for children. I thought I was getting a nice little video with classic songs and games for kids, but ended up with a rap version of the songs and games. The video opens with a leather clad man getting out of a limo and, then a lot of children in some kind of pomaded spiked hair and outlandish clothes, also exit the car. The singing is some kind of rap beat which is totally inappropriate for the age group to which the songs would appeal. Needless to say, I was terribly diasppointed.

This children's program features recordings of children's songs from Vicki Peterson and Susanna Hoffs. It's a nice addition to your Bangles collection and, if you have children, they'll enjoy it too.

1. This video features Pauly Shore who later stars in "In the Army Now" and "Encino Man". 2. Susanna Hoffs sings "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" on here, and she sings it very sweetly. 3.If you like Hip-Hop,(even old school) Give De La Soul's Version of "I'm a Little Teapot" a go(WHAT DOES MARTIANS HAVE TO DO WITH THIS?!)4. A silly sounding rendition of the ABC Song that may not be suitable for parents who have no sense of humor. 5. The guys that wrote "Like A Virgin" and other hits, Their arrangement of "Eensy Weensy Spider" is heard here and sung by one of the guys, Tom Kelly. 6. Another Bangle Featured on this Video!! Listen for Vicki Peterson singing "Row,Row,Row You Boat" with Bobby Donanti, This Version Rocks HARD!!! 7. This video is Directed By Susanna's mother Tamar Simon Hoffs. Hope this Review Helps!!!

Although "Rock and Read" entertained me, the movie didn't have an American look to it. I heard the director went on a trip to Florida to do research for this movie. I thought that they must have gone to China, instead. My seven year old sister has this movie and I borrowed it from her.

My son loved this video when he was a toddler. I enjoyed watching it too. Enough to purchase it now, and my son is 14yrs old, so I can share it with friends that have little children.
Pauly Shore is engaging and the kids show that standard children songs can be updated and 'hip'. It's ROCK and Read and that is what they do.
