Great Overview of the History and Blueprint for Rock and Rol, April 28, 2004

This is such a great collection of some of the greatest performers and the most eclectic styles in rock and roll history. These are the cliff notes, and great ones at that.
When you think of the all-time pioneers of rock and roll, names like Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Little Richard Bill Haley and Roy Orbison come to mind. There would be no Beatles or Rolling Stones if not for them, no Willie Nelson, definitely no Waylon Jennings and probably no Outkast.
With 32 tracks in all, this set features the best of the era, and the blueprint for what was yet to come. An essential listen all the way through, this set is sure to strike up nostalgic memories for all of us who will forever love the music from those magical years.
