4.0 out of 5 stars 1997
There seems to be some misconseption about this album. for starters it is not new it was originally recorded in 1997 when t- rock was still with three six. That is why if you have th re-release on the cover if you look close enough his hypnotized minds chain is blurred out. This is also the case in the picture in the back of the insert. (This is much more noticeable.)...

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but could have been better
Even though T-Rock and Three 6 Mafia had some kind of fallin out, da long awaited Rock Solid album finally came out. It seems like another stupid rapper sold all his album rights to Three 6 Mafia, lol makes me laugh.

Anyways, let me first start off by sayin that DJ Paul and Juicy J, while expandin their horizons as far as production, they lost dat underground edge that...

There are a couple of nice tracks on it. I bought it and i already had the much better original.

5.0 out of 5 stars GET THIS OFF THE SHELF!, February 22, 2003

I'm gonna tell ya.. If you are the type who listens to MC Mack, Killa Klan Kaze, or just the 3-6 Mafia in general.. Go get this now! It'll bring some of the underground back to ya... It's just good ole southern rap bringing back the dirtiness. I nodded my head to almost all of these songs, and if you got the 12's in the back, then they'll be put to work. You got 15 bumping tracks, and every verse is about as lethal as they come. T-Rock does some of his most versatile toungue twisting yet, and if you thought Conspiracy Theory was tite, then you'll be in for a suprise. Cause this album is on fire. This is the mofo you'll be bumpin with the windows down for a while. The hit ones that will be a classic adding some tunes that are actually worth listening to are: So High, Thug Niggas, War Zone, A Drought, and many more. I suggest this one.

Anyways, let me first start off by sayin that DJ Paul and Juicy J, while expandin their horizons as far as production, they lost dat underground edge that I used to love from them. Da production is aite but could have been a lot better. Thats where most of the albums flaws are.

T-Rock is one of da better lyricists to record on Hypnotize Minds, and its evident throughout the whole cd, and guest spots by Gangsta Boo and Pastor Troy are definetly hot. I just can't get over da production tho, hopefully da new Three 6 Mafia Unbreakables will be nothin like this.

4.0 out of 5 stars tight work, August 14, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Rock Solid 4:20 (Audio CD)
look this cd was good because of the production that dj paul and juicy j got to offer, they're the kings of making tight beats. other rappers that have gone on their own after being with hypnotize have struggled beacause others have some wack production(if you dont believe me check out k-rock-k shock the world). t-rock is really talented maybe he'll get his deserved mike time and money. by the way da unbreakbles was tight work.

2.0 out of 5 stars Old Stuff, March 2, 2003
This review is from: Rock Solid 4:20 (Audio CD)
Look this album is old as i dont know what, this album wasnt even finished, they started on it like in early 2001,as far as tha production it will always be tight from paul and juicy-J,this was like an underground album, not like a world wide realease, thats why some will say its not that tight as production wise,it wasnt even through, thats why they put some of there old stuff on there with pastor troy and boo thats stuff is old, have u noticed that paul and others where just on hooks, some where supposed to be on there but paul took there verses off, because t-rock left over money and mic time, the album wasnt done,so there for they threw old songs on there cause he left, which was stupid because he would of gotten paid,so he left and now he aint getting nothing from this album, all that money is going to paul and juicy,t-rock is dumb, look tha unbreakables is gonna set tha world on fire its gonna be there hottest album to date watch, with boo gone u know they gonna have alot of superstars on there i would tell u but i got to go,if u dont believe me wait and see holla
