This sounded like a good book to explore the creationist position on young earth geology. It appears to be well researched and thoroughly documented. I have a degree in physics, but alas, I don't know schist from Shinola when it comes to geology. The essays are fairly technical and don't explain the basics for the layman. If you have a working knowledge of geology and know your karsts from your varves this looks like it would be a good primer for exploring the young earth argument. Otherwise, I would suggest you keep looking.
