This video is really an excellent way to meet some of the best climbers in the world and their own particular ways of finding their way through routes or just doing explosive moves on great boulders. If you are starting to learn the skills of this great sport for the mind, this video will result very helpful on your way to the top. In a few words, "It's an explosive show for the mind!"

There are a number of reasons I was unhappy with this video. First, it was filmed by people who 1) have Attention Deficit Disorder or 2) assume the viewers will all have Attention Deficit Disorder. I was hoping to see great climbers actually climbing routes. I did see some excellent climbers, but after only a few seconds of seeing them climb, the camera pans away to some bonehead making bizarre, irrelevant comments. If I were a 14 year old boy I might find this entertaining, but most adults will not. Much of the film is spent watching the subjects engage in some form or other of self-amusement, as opposed to climbing. I want to learn something by watching experienced climbers solve problems on the wall and to see good technique. This is hard to do when the camera only stays on the climber for 5 to 10 seconds at a time. The scenery and locations were great and there were some fine climbers caught on film -- this video had the potential of being a very interesting, helpful record of a fantastic sport.

This is a great film all around. It shows great locations throughout the world, with a cast of characters that are really hillarious. I liked that it just wasn't 5.15 climbers but showed climbs we all can do. plus ice climbing, mountaineering, and a great section with helmet cam on Hans Florine as he loses his european speed climb title. Ooops! Did I give it away? The music was bitchin' as well, even had some bands we know like String Cheese Incident. I wish more climbing films were like this!

Great climbing, strange video, somewhat disorganized, but the climbing is interesting to watch.

I thought this was an excellent film. It is not your typical climbing film that mixes music and moves, the climbers are funny and keep you interested the enitre film. Watching the places they go, and the crazy things they do make the film so much fun to watch. Plus you get to see some of the best climbers in the world at work, captivating. Get it, its worth it.
