This is an inspirational CD in every sense of the word. Tracy's vocals are amazing, his band is superb, and the selection of songs were obviously well chosen from a talented group of writers. From the timely, UP TO HIM, to the heart-wrenching, SOMEBODY WHO WOULD DIE FOR YOU. This musical compliation compares to Tracy's body of work, in the sense that he knows how to touch people with his songs, and isn't afraid to make his OWN style of music, whether it be traditional country, or contemporary christian country.

What an album! It's become a staple for country music artists to put up a collection of Christian songs and lump it in an album, especially in the latter parts of their careers. Some pull it off, and some just make a mess. This one falls in the category of the former. The songs and Tracy's trademark "nasal-y" vocals combine to make for a very relevant Christian album. The biggest standaout to me is "The Book You Never Read", a unique track of the Bible being the first-person telling the story of what it is and what it has done over the course of its existence, generation upon generation.

Whether you're a fan of Country or christian music, this album will bring you back to faith. The songs are strong and they will entertain you.

I have always been a fan of Tracy Lawrence and this is just another great recording from a great singersong writter.

I bought this album for my Dad last year. We listened to it for the first time while painting the house. He said he's listened to a lot of albums and most of them he liked a few songs, but with this one, he liked every song. This album would be one of the albums I would need with me on an island if I could only have so many. I can't say how many times these songs have hit me and the tears start up! Inspirational and encouraging - but not in a wussy way - in a strong and manly way Tracy vocalizes and passionately make you want to resolve to make changes in your own life.

This collection of songs is one of the best I have ever heard. I listen to the CD over and over! The songs are spiritual/religious without being heavy-handed. The songs are light hearted and poingant and even have some humor to them. I highly revommend this album to anyone who is looking for a light hearted, uplifting album!

Awhile back i was praying that the Lord would either save or restore a country singer, that would make an impact on the nation, to open their eyes to see who God really is. While i was praying that prayer, He was answering it and i didn't even know it! I found out later that Tracy Lawrence had come back to the Lord. PRAISE GOD!!! I ordered the cd. Very very good! I love it! Somebody Who Would Die For You. AWESOME SONG! Tracy Lawrence is just one of the few that God will use. Soon and very soon the nation will be on their knees.

I Love This Album It Is The Best Cd Ever By The Greatest Singer Ever Way to Go Tracy

The only reason I would not give this CD 5 stars is because it only has 10 songs. With today's technology, there isn't much excuse for putting out a 10 song CD in my opinion. It would be better to wait until more songs were recorded or include some similar songs from previous releases, or adjust pricing accordingly.

Other than that, this is a strong Country Gospel recording.

This collection is fantastic. I've shared it with many friends and family. I'm alway surprised when every song on a new release is terrific, this one is more than that. I'm not a music groupy, don't purchase many CD's or follow musicians. Saw TL on FOX and was floored. Will look for TL's next one!
