While we've seen Rihanna have success with sampling Michael Jackson with her song Don't Stop The Music, she isn't the only one who has taken a musical page from the Former King Of Pop. Janet Jackson has taken that gamble as well with her brothers' big hits. Her latest single Rock With U, actually samples her infamous brothers' hit Rock With You. Unlike Rihanna though, who hasn't really made great songs her own, Janet actually shows a bit better promise within her song. The song has a very smooth rhythm, but sadly with the lyrics, it just doesn't actually appeal to new fans as much as the die hard fans. The second single from Discipline though is at least better than her last single Feedback, but not definitive though.Song: C |
