5.0 out of 5 stars great song, awesome remixes!!
I really like this song and I think that it is probably the best single on the Justified album. I'm not gonna say anything about the original because you have probably alreay heard it on the radio or on tv. The real reason to buy this single is the Paul Oakenfold remix. This remix is awesome, it has a very mellow diso-like feel to it and it really works with this song...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good mixes, but not enough of them
This is a good set of remixes. First there's the album version. The Sander Kleinenberg mix is a little funky, a little, trancy, a little housey. Different feel, but good...but TOO short! It's just the "radio edit." The Paul Oakenfold mix is a little longer, but still short. It feels more like the original version, with a slightly different bassline (I've been hearing this...

I really like this song and I think that it is probably the best single on the Justified album. I'm not gonna say anything about the original because you have probably alreay heard it on the radio or on tv. The real reason to buy this single is the Paul Oakenfold remix. This remix is awesome, it has a very mellow diso-like feel to it and it really works with this song. The single also features another remix by Sander Kleinenberg, it too is very good, but the full mix is even better. I will agree with another review in that there needs to bo more remixes included on this single such as the Junior Vasquez Club Anthem, the DV8 remix, the video version, and it would be nice to see and enhanced version of the CD with the video. Overall this is worth checking out, if you love the original you will love the remixes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Irresitible, period, July 4, 2003
This review is from: Rock Your Body (Audio CD)
I bought Justin's "Justified" album for my daughter and as it turns out, Justin doesn't need *Nsync to be good. In fact, the album is quite an enjoyable listen all the way through (but that's for another review).

The stand-out song is "Rock Your Body", and it is finally issued as a single (the 3rd off the album). With irresistable funk, the song just cries out for dancing. Come on over wallflowers! Anyone can dance to this! The remixes are less to my liking (albeit not bad), but the song deserves this year's "guilty pleasure" throphy, no question about it. Buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy Tigerettes., October 5, 2003

Cranky reviewer is of course talking rubbish(US:garbage). However it's obvious he was talking tongue in cheek, something Mr.Levi should have comprehended. Mr. Timberlake is not partuclarly good looking and and makes fairly poor pop music. However, a remix of this tune was played at Space in Ibiza this Summer and went down a storm. (For any Americans out there, Space is the best nightclub on the planet and is located on a small island in the mediteranean sea. Check your atlas dubyas). i.e this is a top tune. If you have have the slightest bit of rhythmn in your body, BUY IT.

This CD is great and for those of you who are stuck in a world of negativity and don't like happy dance music, get over yourselves! These remixes are incredibly intoxicating and, if you'll let them, will grab you and get your body moving. Get happy and dance, people!

4.0 out of 5 stars Rock Your Body Single, May 28, 2008
This review is from: Rock Your Body (Audio CD)
The third single from "Justified", is reminising of the disco area. With a funky fare, no other recent track gives a sense of this. "Rock Your Body" begins with a dude at a retro club, think "That 70's Show" intro, ready for fun. Talks of club atmosphere, add to the storyline.
16+ crowds is recommended with one drug mention. Children may or may not realize its meaning.
Pay close attention to the singing, as a female voice comes in. This lucky fits in perfectly. Justin himself discovered her himself, given her a jump start!
It could be a great starter to a night of partying. The mixes are good. This is coming from someone who loathes most mixes, feeling they can't compare to the originals! There's a few exceptions!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good mixes, but not enough of them, April 15, 2005
This review is from: Rock Your Body (Audio CD)
This is a good set of remixes. First there's the album version. The Sander Kleinenberg mix is a little funky, a little, trancy, a little housey. Different feel, but good...but TOO short! It's just the "radio edit." The Paul Oakenfold mix is a little longer, but still short. It feels more like the original version, with a slightly different bassline (I've been hearing this version on the radio). And finally there's an instrumental of the album version that does retains Justin's beat box vocal part.

There are more mixes of this song to be had...and they should be released on CD single...the video version alone is longer than the LP version and should have been on here!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not too good, annoying, June 17, 2003

jeda (east coast) - See all my reviews

Alright, i listen mostly to rock, rap, and reggae but i do like several other kinds of music. I admit to likeing a couple of NSYNC songs and i liked Justin Timberlakes first two singles, "Like I Love You", and "Cry Me A River". This does not excuse Justin from this annoying garbage. It was played out on Fitness commercials! its horrible, with on redeeming quality, its somehwat catchy chorus. other then that the song is boring and annoying. get his other singles instead or the whole "Justified" album.
