This review is from: Rock climbing in the Lake District: An illustrated guide to selected climbs in the Lake District (Hardcover)
Two weeks before my trip to England and Scotland this past year, I decided that climbing excursions would be fun and different from the usual tourist sights. I had a rack, gear and experience with both trad and sport climbing, but no idea where to climb on the island. Getting 'biners at my local outfitter, I saw this book, and immediately pounced on it. The work told me everything I needed to know about climbing in the Lake District, and included extremely useful directs on how to locate the crags.
