In spite of myself, I enjoy this collection (despite the fact that the 1980's were not the big feel-good party the media wants everyone to believe nowadays). There are many songs on this collection that bring me back to those nice, carefree (bill-free, actually) days of elementary school.
You get more for your money with two years (as opposed to one) of music. Also, take the time to read and digest the liner notes. They're enlightening and give a good backdrop to the music you're hearing. Caution: You'll become addicted and will want the rest of them after hearing one CD/cassette.

I like 80's music, and this cd had some songs that I hadn't heard in a long time. I recommend it if the downloads aren't available to you.

A Good Collection,

This is a very good collection of the music of the later 80's. These are all the artists you loved but forgot when the "touch me baby touch me baby oh yeah oh yeah" music came into power. My personal favorites are "Don't Dream It's Over"-Crowded House, "Need You Tonight"-INXS, and "Luka"- Suzanne Vega. This is a very good disc, and it's what music needs!
