Each release in the Rockabye Baby! series takes the best-known songs of a particular artist and places them in a lullaby processor that involves chimes, bells, and vibraphones -- renditions that are slightly more involved than the music that comes out of the average baby mobile. Whether the original versions are heavy and aggressive or light and subdued, these lullaby versions are uniformly appropriate for their purpose. And, in some cases, they even happen to tease out an unlikely amount of melodicism not apparent in the originals. If you like the Cure then you'll definitely dig these "lullabys". I like sitting with the baby and just listening to this over and over. Your baby is definitely going to be ready for the real Cure when they get older. I'm biased though, I could listen to the Cure set to elevator muzak.

Our 3 month old daughter seems to like it. We use it as part of her "sleep-time regimen", and we don't mind listening to it. It's better to get this stuck in your head than the other music in her life. We figure some day when she's 22, she'll ask us why she loves The Cure so much.

Who knew The Cure's lent itself to lullabye treatment? This is the best from the Rockabye Baby series, IMO. The songs are instantly recognizable, and actually sound quite beautiful as lullabies. Very relaxing and soothing for my son, it also put my husband and me to sleep (in a good way).

Music for Babies Parents Can Get Enjoy

Not the target audience, but still a fan
