5.0 out of 5 stars Psychedelic Lullaby
The traditional Lullaby may sound very different soon. After listening to "Hush little Baby" fifty times I began to chew my own arm off, but it was the only thing that would put my baby son to sleep. I stumbled onto Baby Rock Records on Amazon and found that they released a Tool lullaby cd. I had to get it. My son loves the tunes to fall asleep to and he loves the...

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty much what you would expect
I have this & the Radiohead "Rockabye Baby" discs, and they're pretty much would you would expect. The Radiohead one is excellent, but Tool's music doesn't lend itself to this type of collection quite as well. Still the CD is good & soothing, even if the songs are not as easily recognizable as on the Radiohead disc. The song selection could be stronger, as nothing from...

I stumbled onto Baby Rock Records on Amazon and found that they released a Tool lullaby cd. I had to get it. My son loves the tunes to fall asleep to and he loves the "plugged in" Tool when it is "wakey" time. I could not be more pleased. Listening to this cd over and over again is not a problem. I have purchased Baby Rock's Nirvana and Pink Floyd renditions since.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great!, May 16, 2007

I'm a diehard Tool fan, and after listening to the samples I was compelled to buy this album. Even if you don't have kids, I recommend this record to any tool fan. It's a great spin on their music, and if you DO have kids, it'll help them develop a good taste in music early on :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Spiral out..., November 17, 2006
This review is from: Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions Of Tool (Audio CD)
While I realize this isn't really tool in its purest form, it definitely is pretty cool stuff - and allows you to definitely introduce your kid to tool at an early age (if that is your goal) or put them to sleep (which is always a challenging goal) while you sing along to "Opiate" in the back of your mind. And it defintely gives you a break from all of that other baby crap that is already out there! Definitely recommend it for all of the tool fans out there with a little guy (or gal)...

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!, February 8, 2008
I am a huge TOOL fan and I recently had a baby. he likes listening to TOOL music but it is a little loud for his baby ears. When I saw this I thought it would be a perfect addition to our collection. He hasn't listened to it much yet, but I love it. If you are a TOOL fan and like variations on their music you will enjoy this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mistake, June 1, 2007
This album is so much fun. They made a mistake, though: Disposition is Reflection, and vice-versa. The authors must not be very die-hard Tool fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT, March 7, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love this, my friend loves this, my sons father loves this. As for the 5 month and the 6 1/2 month olds that have been listening to it who knows. I bought this for my son for his room. I have a CD player in his bedroom that I turn on when he goes to bed because the mobil never plays music long enough and I love listening to this through the monitor. I am not a huge Tool fan but daddy loves Tool. I also got the Bob Marley one and Pearl Jam, I lend them to my friend to burn for her daughter and she actually ends up taking them to work and playing them at work because they are nice and soothing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great kids music that the rocking parent will enjoy, August 10, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
All of the Rockabye Baby music are must haves. If you're into classic rock, grunge, heavy metal you'll love these. Very mellow and soothing but with the tones you rocked out on. I really loved the Nirvana one. All classics!

I am thrilled with the cd, as with all rockabye baby cds. However, I am very unhappy with the service from amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun, soothing, good stuff, October 24, 2009
As a Tool fan, this is such a fun 'alternative' to the music. I don't have any babies. I got this for me... to chill out here and there. Admittedly, the tinny piano-ish instrument used in all tracks can get a teensy bit grating. But just barely. It's a fun album and... you can kick back and chill, hearing your favorite melodies in a whole new way.
