I got this chair today and it is amazing. I purchased another chair for 1/4 the cost and it was garbage. I'm 6'3" and 220lbs. So I needed a "captains chair" and this is perfect. Great sound bass and vibration in a gaming chair sized for adults. Racing games already rock in this chair!! I'm off to try others, do yourself a favor and buy if you in the market, you wont be disappointed.

This chair is great Im very happy with it

PROS: Sounds great, can go nice and loud. You can use TV speakers and chair speakers together. Strong vibration in your lower back. Pretty comfortable. Smooth rocking motion. Looks stylish. Easy to clean.

CONS: For playing games like call of duty you can tell if sounds are on the right or left of you but not so much if they are forward or behind you. If you use the TV speakers with the chair speakers there is a millisecond lag, justvturn the TV volume a little bit lower and you can't hear it. Chair is heavy but not to bad. Armrest are useless unless your a child, they sit to low to reach with your elbows when holding a controller. The cord to plug in is only about 4 feet long. When using the wireless sound there is some static occasionally for a brief second, nothing major though. Recommend getting a 3v charger for the wireless tranciever, not included. You sit about a foot off of the ground. No HDMI connection.

Overall I think you will be very happy with this chair. 4 stars because its a great product. No 5 stars becuasr its not flawless.

*update* I have had this chair for 3 years now, it has held up well, still sounds great. But it gets uncomfortable sitting so low to the floor. I think I would have gone with the model that's on a stand now. Also I have to put a pillow under my butt because the padding doesn't seem to over enough comfort after a while. Other than that though its still a good product.

I bought two chairs from Xrocker, This one and the pedestal version.
The difference you notice is that this H3 series has speakers near the front end seat which feeds sound through pretty well. One of the speakers had a dent in it, but that's probably the shipping person's fault. Everything worked fine. My biggest surprise is that the vibration function is VERY STRONG in this model...
i.e. You don't have to turn the volume to deafening levels to feel thumping on your back...as you would with the pedestal version.

I like this chair better than the pedestal xrocker because it...well...rocks better, the other one is pretty static. H3 is very comfortable, the front seat is a bit shorter than I expected but the sound quality and vibration more than make this a worthy purchase.

The chair itself does what it claims and is well made. Sound quality is decent for stereo. Overall a positive experience, but I am going to focus on the negatives for this review.

I was unable to get the arms tight enough. Three allen wrench screws hold each arm onto base. Tightened them up as much as possible without stripping threads. But I was still able to wiggle each arm about 1/4 inch forward and backwards. Very noticeable getting in and out.

I'm 6'2". The back doesn't come up as high as I need. So I get some neck fatigue after sitting in it awhile.

The speakers on the top face outwards. Therefore making more sound in the room for others. Personally, I would have preferred them forward facing next to my ears.

Has great bass and vibration, although I find it strange that it has to be turned up to a certain level before vibration starts.

My biggest gripe is you cannot easily connect it to a PS3. PS3's do not have RCA or headphone jacks. After contacting customer support, they said I needed the accessory cable that came with the PS3 (something I lost long ago, because I would never need it with HDMI). However, Sony's manual says you cannot use the accessory cable and HDMI at the same time. Although the agent assured me it does.

I got this chair for Christmas and am very pleased, the only complaint is I'm 6'0" and the use of a foot stool is necessary for better comfort for extended use; (storage ottoman, so it is useful and practical). The padding for your back is well put together and comfortable, the speaker volume is good at any level, and the functionality provided is great. I use to get complaints from upstairs the tv was too loud during gameplay, with this chair allows me to listen to my television through the chair speakers at a better level to hear and not disturb others in the household. Another downside is the weight, although it is not unbearable to lift or slide, ensure you have enough space for the chair wherever you are deciding to put it as it can be a pain if you have to move it out of a particular spot after each use.

The X-Rocker Pro H3 delivers a great gaming experience. Let's start from the beginning. Unpacking, assembling the chair, and installing it should take about 15 minutes. The only assembly required are the arm rests, which attach easily and securely with a supplied tool. Line up the holes, insert the bolt, tighten, then snap on a cover. Installing the chair to your equipment, whether tv, console, or pc, is quick and hassle-free. They supply a number of cords for different configurations. Some reviewers have noted the lack of audio inputs, but there is no need for them. An optical-in would be pointless since the chair is not 5.1. The chair of course requires an ac outlet. I connected it to a surge protector, which I recommend using to protect your chair. The surge protector also gave me extra cord length to reach an outlet.

The wireless transmitter, if you chose to use it, works very well although even using lithium AAA batteries, it did go through batteries rather fast. It does have an input for an ac adaptor, which is not included. You can easily find one on Amazon for around twenty bucks. I chose to connect the chair directly to my tv. Conveniently they supply a pair of RCA couplers, which allow you to connect two sets of RCA cables together. I combined the included pair with an extra pair that I had, giving me just the right about amount of cable to reach the chair.

As noted, I routed sound out of my tv to my chair. I had a PS3 and XBOX 360 connected to a 5.1 sound system, connecting to it via their optical outs. My gaming laptop is simply connected to my tv with hdmi. With the PS3, you can select two audio outputs, so I was able to keep my 5.1 sound active. The Xbox 360 didn't need any changes at all.
