Jah Lives,
By "cocopebenito" (Washington, DC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Rockers (Audio CD)
If you are a true roots reggae fan, you must have this Album & Movie! It is the most inspirational, touching album in the universe! The lyrics and the messages that each reggae artists wrote are beyond anyone's reach. This album is indeed legendary due to each crucial reggae masters contribution. "Jah No Deh" is undeniably my favorite song because it reaches unfathomably in my soul. For those who have heard this song and is a true believer of the "Almighty Jah" can easily identify that the voice singing is actually an angel from the heavens above. One Love-One World, Coco Pe Benito. (Washington, DC)

Must hear, must see, must own,
By Nico (subterranean) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Rockers (Audio CD)
This is a must hear soundtrack and a must see movie! Great versions of extra classics. The Abyssinians harmonizing Satta Massagana with Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus on the hand-drums! Never mind that, not on actual soundtrack. I ask the producers a huge question as to why? And that is just the beginning. Listen for Spear all alone vocally (actually Horsemouth sitting next to him with his head bobbing to imaginary beats!) Big big smile. Love this movie! Spin the sountrack.
