This is a very beautiful and very informative picture book. My son, who is interested in attending Space Camp, thought it was great. We read it together, and I even learned a few things. It reminded me how brave the astronauts are!

Great drama,

My 4 year old loved this book. He begged me to read it to him again and again. And I liked the emphasis on the human factor - the emotions of the astronauts and the drama of the flight. I also liked how the author worked in just enough technical details to inform, but not overwhelm a young child. And the pictures are beautiful.
