This work of Dave Stevens is just so COOL!! He single handedly brought Betty Page to a whole new generation of comic art fans.His Rocketeer story is beyond a doubt the work he will be remembered by ... its an American classic !! A very gifted illustator who just wasn't given alot of time on this earth ...he was one of the best and I for one will miss him. Thanks for bringing us Betty ... and all of your wounderful art work ... ride on brother.

I read this before I ever managed to find Dave Stevens' original comic version, so this may have influenced what I thought of that, originally. A tale of a young man, a rocket pack, a voluptuous girlfriend, a good-hearted mentor, nazis, mobsters and a crazy rich guy.

Throw in lots of aerial antics and flying around, and you have a fun pulp adventure.
