I had a weak signal in my in-laws place and wanted to boost the signal and split it for cable TV and Internet. The cable TV worked fine (it did before), but the Internet would drop all the time. If I had a weak TV signal, perhaps it would have made it better, but I wanted to split the signal, and this product did not work as it said.

This product worked great and was easy to use. Without this device many channels were not viewable and those that were had lots of pixelation. This product rocks.

The Rocketfish Cable Amplifier works exactly as advertised! In fact, it would have been impossible to write this review without it since my cable modem had dropped out again (Comcast has replaced my modem and tweaked my levels twice) and only came back up after I installed this amplifier where the cable line comes into the house.

This is a well made unit that comes with a power supply and mounting screws. It connects to the coax cables like any other splitter and has a red power LED to indicate that it is working.

We bought this at a local electronics store (Rocketfish is actually a brand name owned by one of the retail chains) because I needed it right away.

Highly Recommended!

I have Comcast(Xfinity) cable tv and internet using 3 tv's and cable mode. I was using 2 sets of splitters and my main TV never got all HD channels and when some did come in they were spotty and or scambled or not displayed at all. Simply hooking up this Rocketfish amplifier it fixed my problems. All channels come in clear. There was no notible difference in internet speeds however.

This was a great buy and did the job right. I bought a unit from Walmart and that lasted about a day. Very weak. This unit was 3 times as strong and I can run 4 TV's instead of 1(just running 2 at the moment). My main TV, does pick up more channels, than the unit I have in the bedroom that's about 20 feet away. Are there other amplifiers that work better; maybe. But I know I didn't spend no $50.00 on the unit. Would buy again.

I ordered this because I live in an apt. and only have one main cable line. I have 4 bedrooms that needed tvs. So I had to run a splitter from the main cable in 1 room down the hall to the other 3, then another splitter to connect the other 3 bedrooms to cable! So my signal was split twice! I couldn't get many channels, and the signal was poor, scrambled, or the screen would go black. The negative..the packaging was awful...the box had been cut open, rewrapped and taped, as if it was used. It was sold as "new". The positive..The product itself had no signs of being used. I plugged it up, connected the three tv cables into it..and it worked!! Im so happy. I am watching a channel on my tv right this moment, that I haven't been able to pick up for months! If you have a splitter now, and are getting poor reception, this is just the thing you need!

We are 50 miles from the nearest broadcast tower in Columbus Ohio. The Winegard fl6550A worked great for all but one channel which was in and out. So we bought this and now all 4 tvs work perfectly. Ordinarily I buy everything from Amazon but we wanted it immediately so we went to Best Buy where it would be an easy return if it did not work.

In though this item would only help me receive a few additional channels. Before I attached the amplifier; I was only receiving 48 channels. After attaching the amplifier; I received 114 antenna channels. I didn't even have a weak signal loss to the other televisions connected. I would highly recommend this item.
